选择2020这组公元纪年数字，作为本年度的首个展览主题，旨在新冠病毒的疫情解禁之后，以艺术机构共同展览的形式，邀请到20家画廊机构中的20位艺术家，组成2020这组数字，期待将这应该被人们永久镌刻的时间节点，转换成为一个新的起点与希望。

艺术生态中所有个体都无法单一性的界定其身份、目的与属性，全行业面对共同压力、更需要集体反思。一直以来，众多画廊在谋求自身生存与发展的基础之上，还承担着对当代艺术学术的研究与拓展的职责。美术馆在肩负公共教育和学术延展的基本职能之外，也致力于进行中国当代艺术生态的特殊性研究，及对不同历史时期和时代背景下美术馆使命的课题研究。而不管在何种语境之下，学术的进步都需要不同运营模式及研究方向的机构以开放、接受未知的态度来共同推进。松美术馆希望利用自己的平台来讨论艺术机构间的共存与共生。此次尝试邀请画廊机构进入美术馆空间进行展览，并予以画廊方推荐艺术家、确定参展作品、确定布展方式的自主性来深度参与，以期探索“2020”后的更多可能性。

Adopting 2020 as the title for this year’s first exhibition, we have invited 20 artists from 20 art galleries and institutions to form the number 2020. Upon the lift of self-quarantine from the COVID-19 pandemic, we hope that the presentation of the joint exhibition will transform this memorable node of time to a new beginning and hope.

All individuals in the artistic ecology cannot define their identity, purpose, and attributes singularly, while the pressure this industry confronts as a whole demand our collective reflection. As many galleries strived for their survival and development, they have also assumed the responsibility to research and expand contemporary art scholarship. Other than presenting general public programs and extending academic research, the art museums are dedicated to studying the specificity of China's contemporary art ecology and its mission in the context of different historical periods and times. Nevertheless, academic advancement requires institutions with different operating models and research directions to move forward together with an openness and acceptance of the unknown. Song Art Museum hopes to open its platform to discuss the coexistence and symbiosis among art institutions. We invite galleries and other institutions to exhibit in the museum space and offer autonomy to the art galleries in recommending artists, selecting the artworks to be displayed, and determining the mode to be presented, in exploring the possibilities in the “post-2020” era.
