The forms of everyday objects are not merely simple existences; they are also vessels that nurture mythological cores and carry eternal meanings. In this group exhibition, the artists strip away the superficial layers of ordinary things, collecting fragmented experiences, extracting and refining them, and endowing them with philosophical significance that transcends the objects themselves. Qiu Xipeng and Huang Weiqing deconstruct the everyday through surreal perspectives, attempting to articulate individual perception and positioning within a complex world. Pei Ke and Fan Huaxiao take natural forms as their point of departure, reconstructing the dynamic process through which mythological structures grow out of the foundations of daily life. Zhong Lin and Li Wenyuan transpose familiar grand landscapes onto intimate pictorial spaces, exploring the connections between humans and nature, the Earth, and even the cosmos. These works function like prisms, refracting the relationship between the self and the world. Through attentive observation, we come to realize that mythic echoes that seem distant and intangible have always been rooted in every act of perception, every struggle, and every moment of flux. Myth has never hovered in the heavens; it exists close to our breath and has never truly departed.
