Auction introduction: Christie’s Rare Watches auction returns to Geneva this November, following the success of the Rare Watches Including the Property of Michael Schumacher auction in May, which totalled CHF 23,000,000 with a sell-through rate of 96%. This season’s auction will feature wristwatches of exceptional rarity and desirability, including iconic models from Rolex, Patek Philippe, F.P. Journe, Cartier, and many more. This outstanding curation promises to captivate even the most discerning collectors. The Rare Watches auction on 11 November at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues in Geneva will include a special section dedicated to a collection of exceptional watches offered to benefit the European Leukodystrophy Association (ELA), which supports research into leukodystrophies and the families affected by these diseases. Eleven renowned brands — Andersen Genève x BCHH, ArtyA, Atelier Haute Complication, Bovet, Girard-Perregaux, Konstantin Chaykin, Louis Erard, Montblanc, Richard Mille, Swatch, and Ulysse Nardin — have each generously donated a timepiece for this charity auction.
