Auction introduction: Leading our prestigious Evening Auction this fall, Sotheby’s Hong Kong is honoured to present a distinguished selection of works by Modern and Contemporary Masters. Steering this spectacular collection is an iconic masterpiece by Yoshitomo Nara. The largest known canvas from Nara's "Children of the Night" series, Can't Wait 'till the Night Comes showcases a michevous vampire on top of another work with entirely different subject matter. Alongside we are also presenting Pablo Picasso's museum-grade portrait of a musketeer, Zao Wou-Ki's beautiful Infinite Period work with ground-breaking palette, and the largest Lee Man Fong landscape work currently on the market. Additionally, a group of museum-level works from the collection of Dorothy and Roy Lichtenstein. Other highlights also include Yayoi Kusama, Christine Ay Tjoe, Kazuo Shiraga, among others. The auction takes place in Hong Kong on 28 September at 6PM HKT.
