Fordjour, who often works to music, shares Timbaland’s hip-hop roots, and his painting Beatmaker, 2024 captures a young artist in a bedroom studio, reflecting both creators' humble origins. The composition, with bars, loops, and rhythmic elements, mirrors Timbaland’s iconic production style. This project is a celebration of Black creative genius, with vinyl representing both a cultural artifact and a lasting legacy.
