Auction introduction: This season, Christie’s 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale is proud to present seminal works by leading masters of the modern era as well as contemporary luminaries and emerging artists from around the world. The sale preview will be held from 26 November – 1 December at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. This evening sale is led by an important 1982 masterpiece, Jean-Michel Basquiat’s Donut Revenge. Other special highlights include Figures in Landscape by Roy Lichtenstein and Homme au chapeau by Pablo Picasso. The sale will also feature prominent works by international artists such as Yayoi Kusama, Zao Wou-Ki, Yoshitomo Nara, George Condo and Avery Singer. This Sale will take place immediately after the 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale: Worlds in a Hand.
