Auction introduction: Our inaugural 20th/21st Century Art Day Sale in Paris features a selection of just above 150 artworks by some of the leading names of the 20thand 21st centuries. The exciting line-up starts with 19th-century Impressionist and post-Impressionist masters the likes of Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Eugène Boudin and Edouard Vuillard, going into 20th-century modernism represented by artists such as Kees van Dongen, Albert Gleizes, Léopold Survage, Auguste Herbin, Joan Miró, Salvador Dalí, and post-war art with Kazuo Shiraga, Chu The-Chun, Simon Hantaï, Serge Poliakoff and Hans Hartung. The sale also presents a section of Italian 20th-century art,which includes a collection of works by masters ofArte Povera. We’re pleased to offer a group of contemporary works in aid of l’Imprimerie d’art de Montparnasse endowment fund, including names such as David Lynch, Raymond Pettibonand Invader.
