Auction introduction: Sotheby’s is delighted to present the second installment of an important private collection of Korean ceramics, SUBLIME BEAUTY: Korean Ceramics from a Private Collection Part II, comprising 28 exceptional Korean ceramics from the Goryeo and Joseon dynasties. Highlights include a 17th / 18th century moon jar, a 15th century Buncheong sgraffiato ‘peony’ pear-shaped vase, and a group of Joseon white porcelain with underglaze cobalt-blue designs.
