Auction introduction: Sotheby's Italy is thrilled to announce the presentation of a refined selection of design works during the 62nd edition of the Salone del Mobile. The online auction will take place from 16 to 23 April 2024. This initiative marks the beginning of an ongoing journey for Sotheby's Italy, which will organize two annual auctions, providing the market a comprehensive overview of design—from the mastery of past great artists to the new generations constantly seeking innovation and project development. We will present works made by Mario Bellini, Alessandro Mendini, Gaetano Pesce Max Ingrand, Pietro Chiesa and Ronald Sasson, just to name a few. The exhibition will be open to the public from 18 until 21 April at our prestigious venue in Palazzo Serbelloni, Corso Venezia 16, Milan.
