Auction introduction: Christie’s Paris invites you to the latest edition of the Joaillerie Paris sale, a celebration of excellent craftsmanship in the art of fine jewellery. This season highlights exceptional stories and treasures that reveal a legacy of rare distinction.
Among the remarkable pieces, an important and private collection of creations by René Boivin stands out for their bold creativity and use of unique design. The sale will also feature an ensemble of jewels from a French private collector. These creations, signed by prestigious houses such as Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier and Boucheron evoke the timeless glamour of the creation with rare pieces from the 1960s and 1970s with interesting coloured stones from such important geographical origins as Burma, Kashmir and Ceylon.
Additionally, we offer in the sale a rare Bouquet de Violette by Fabergé. Rich in history, this piece embodies the refinement of a life shaped by nobility and the splendour of Europe’s great families.
The exhibition’s scenography, envisioned by the paper artist Laure Devenelle will create a poetic and modern showcase for these extraordinary treasures.
We look forward to welcoming you to discover this unique selection, where each jewel tells a story and embodies a heritage of exceptional beauty.
