Auction introduction: Christie’s London will host its 20th/21st Century Evening Sale on 28 February 2023, featuring major works by some of period’s most significant artists. Leading highlights offer contrasting visions of the female form, including Pablo Picasso’s Femme dans un rocking-chair (Jacqueline) and two masterpieces by Georg Baselitz from the Hess Art Collection. Elsewhere, themes of nature and landscape unite works by Paul Cézanne and Lucian Freud.
