Auction introduction: This autumn, Sotheby’s is pleased to reunite emblematic pieces from Jean-Michel Frank to Tom Dixon, including the works of Alberto Giacometti, Gaetano Pesce, Armand-Albert Rateau, Line Vautrin, Diego Giacometti, as well as Claude and François-Xavier Lalanne. A section dedicated to artists’ design will notably reunite the works of Franz West, Richard Artschwager, Antoni Miralda, Frank Gehry and Guy de Rougemont. After inviting key figures such as Jacques Grange, Diana Widmaier Picasso, Frédéric Malle et Benoît Astier de Villatte, Sotheby’s is pleased to present the November 2024 Important Design auction in Paris with creative director of Rabanne, Julien Dossena.
