After fierce bidding on the spot, it was finally sold with 70 million yuan and 80.5 million yuan as a commission. It has become the most expensive Western Art in Chinese Mainland. This is the second time that Columns was in auction. In October 2016, Sotheby's London was auctioned, and the deal was $3.63 million; This time, in China Guardian, it was sold for 80.5 million yuan, achieving three times in five years.

Richter's popularity in Asia did not start all at once.
