Born in Virginia, USA, Cy Twombly studied at the affiliated college of the Boston Museum of Art, and is a famous American master of abstract paintings. He is good at depicting the daily or natural objects into simple lines, with casual brushstrokes. After inheriting Abstract Expressionism and Minimalism, he further broke the existing framework and pushed flat painting to another peak. Later, new expressionist artists have developed on his basis. He is known as the most influential artist after World War II.
