American artist, born in Kittery of Maine, graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design, and now lives in New York. He uses a relatively radical approach to create, his works showed a variety of forms. Joe Bradley became famous after applying paint on both sides of the canvas and allowing the paint on the reverse side to penetrate to the front anthropomorphic shape. He roughly spliced saturated, unprimed canvases together, using stacked sculptures to pay homage to the ready-made artworks.
