American painter, born in Grandin of North Dakota, graduated from Washington State University, a pioneer of Abstract Expressionism, he is no longer limited to painting on canvas with a brush, but with a knifes, branches or his own hands etc.. He is the only painter who combines the luminosity of "color field" with dynamic painting. He was also the first artist who breaks into a brand new style that is completely abstract and lacking with obvious subjects.
